Grilled meat and vegetable using wooden skewers

You can use both poultry and pork meat, as well as beef meat to prepare wooden skewers with meat and vegetables for cooking on the grill. However, red meat is prepared a little longer, so it is worth to grill them on separate skewers, not together with vegetables. If you want to prepare a nutritious meal of skewers as quickly as possible, choose poultry meat.

A method of preparing skewers:

Before you start cutting and stuffing ingredients on wooden skewers, you must first soak the wooden skewers in water for about an hour. If you use steel skewers, there will be no need.

Cut the chicken breast into small pieces. Prepare a marinade with a few tablespoons of olive oil and lemon juice. Spice and add the chopped parsley. Dip the cut meat in it and leave it in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Pepper, zucchini and onions also cut into regular pieces to grill everything evenly. Hop vegetables and meat alternately on wooden skewers. Use a silicone brush to grease the vegetables with a little olive oil. Grill the skewers on the grill until the meat is ready, or about 15 minutes. Every now and again, turn the skewers so that they are well-sealed on each side.
